A meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Deputy Chief Minister, Nagaland on 13th September, 2021 in the Conference Hall of the Chief Secretary, Nagaland to deliberate for developing a comprehensive strategy for dealing with the complaints pertaining to Illegal Taxation/Extortion in Dimapur District, and also for discussing the matter of collection of items tax/fees by ULBs and certain other issues as contained in the representation dated 09.09.2021 submitted by the Confederation of Nagala

 

 

Governor of Nagaland, R.N. Ravi has instituted an Award to encourage the students of Nagaland to excel in the study of Basic Sciences. The Award will be known as “Governor’s Excellence Award in Science Study of HSSLC Examination”. The Award will be given to the best 6(six) students in science stream with the following subject combination.

In compliance to Home Department, Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority Order and in partial modifications to the Office Order, Deputy Commissioner Peren, Sentiwapang Aier, NCS has notified that punitive actions shall be taken against those found without wearing masks in public and a penalty of Rs. 200/-  shall be imposed every time the offence is committed.
