Nagaland Chief Secretary, J.Alam IAS has expressed shocked and saddened by the demise of late Toshi Wungtung Advisor, I&PR, SCERT and Village Guards on 1st July, 2021 at New Delhi where he was undergoing treatment.

A release issued by the Principal Secretary, Home has reiterated that the State Funeral of Late Toshi Wungtung which will be held on 03/07/2021 (Saturday) at his residence in Purana Bazar, Dimapur from 8:00 AM onwards, will be Live Streamed at the MyGovNagaland Channel.

Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha has informed that the mortal remains of Late ToshiWungtung, Advisor, Information & Public Relation, SCERT, Village Guards, who breathed his last, in the morning hours of 1st July 2021 at New Delhi, will reach Dimapuron 2nd July.

In pursuance to NSDMA-ER-COVID19-01/2020 (Part-II)/5502, dated 30.06.2021 and in continuation to order of even number dated 13.05.2021, 21.05.2021, 31.05.2021, 11.06.2021 and 18.06.2021, Deputy Commissioner and Chairman, District Task Force, Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie, has issued the following relaxations of lockdown regulations- Unlock Phase-I have been made within Kohima District from 1st July to 10th July 2021: <

In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, EAC Longshen, Imliwabang Aier , NCS on 30th June 2021, ordered the immediate sealing of House No.101, Yajong Morung, Yuching Village, till further order. 

The closure of schools have been necessitated due to Covid-19 pandemic and it is felt that some students may be facing difficulties in enrolling themselves in the school within the specified time as given in the academic calendar 2021. In this regard, schools are allowed to admit late corners or anyone affected by the pandemic to resume their schooling.
