ROUNDUP ON COVID-19 LOCKDOWN IN THE STATE

Home Department of the Nagaland State Government issued the daily report on Law & Order and facilitation of essential Goods & Services in the State for the 23th of April, 2020. The report informed that 8 violations of the lockdown were reported.  1(one) person was arrested, 14 (Fourteen) persons were bound down and 1(One) FIR case was registered. However, no Law and Order incident has been reported in any part of the State.

TRAINING OF COVID-19 VOLUNTEERS AT MON

Deputy Commissioner Mon, Thavaseelan K IAS informed that on the 23rd of April 2020, COVID-19 Volunteers for Mon District were trained in the DC's Conference Hall. The training was conducted in 2 (two) batches. The first batch comprised of Red Cross, Youth Club and Nehru Yuka Kendra (NYK) Volunteers and the second batch comprised of Grade-IV Government Servants requisitioned for COVID-19 duty.

DC DIMAPUR SETS UP COMMITTEE TO IDENTIFY BENEFICIARIES

As directed by the Home Department for distribution of relief to daily wage earners and labourers in the district, the DC of Dimapur has set up a Committee for identification of beneficiaries and distribution of relief packages with Executive Magistrates of the concerned area as Convener and Sector Commanders of the concerned area, GB of the concerned village/colony, Chairman of the concerned village/colony, Women representative of the concerned village/colony, youth represe
