The Nagaland Legislative Assembly Secretariat, Kohima has issued a notification informing that in continuation of the Secretariat’s Notification NO: AS/ESTT/25/2005/1109 dated 16th September, 2022 and in pursuance of Sub. Section (1) of Section 5 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 (Central Act N0.22 of 2005), the nomenclature of the Appellate Authority referred to as Secretary-In-Charge shall be read as Secretary with immediate effect.

The Home Department has issued a notification declaring that the 4th of April, 2026 (1st Saturday) as holiday for the state government offices located in Kohima in lieu of working day declared on the 28th of March 2026 (4th Saturday), on account of Financial Year Closing vide the department’s notification No. GAB/GEN/21/2010(Pt) dated 25th/03/2026.
