Apropos the news item under the caption “GOVERNMENT DECLARES MARCH 28 AS WORKING SATURDAY” published in today's “Naga News” dated 25th March 2026, the entire second paragraph that reads, “The day is also declared as working day for the Banks and Financial Institutes under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881” is omitted completely from the news article and considered as null and void.
Inconveniences caused is deeply regretted.

GOVERNMENT DECLARES MARCH 28 AS WORKING SATURDAY
The Home Department, Government of Nagaland, has issued a notification declaring the 28th of March, 2026 (4th Saturday) as working day for the office of the State Government located in Kohima in view of the closure of the current Financial Year 2025-26. All Administrative Heads and Heads of Departments may ensure attendance of the officers and staff of their respective Departments on the aforementioned date.
