To combat the alleged illegal collection of money from the vehicles at check gates and other locations in the District and in compliance with the notification of the Home Department, Political Branch dated Kohima the 19th May 2022, DC Peren has informed that all check gates within the District including police check gates have been suspended with immediate effect from 19th May 2022.

In pursuance of the Home Department No.POL/ARMS/12-13 Dated Kohima the 19th April 2022, Deputy Commissioner Peren has informed all concerned that the last date for uploading information regarding Arms License for generations of Unique Identification Number (UIN) in the National Database of Arms License has been extended till 31st March 2023.
