ADDITIONAL DEPUTY COMMISSIONER LONGLENG INFORMS

Regarding disturbance caused on Nagaland registered vehicles by some organization along the Amguri-Mariani-Golaghat route of Assam now, ADC longleng has informed that passenger vehicles(both commercial & private) are advised not to commute through this route until such time the situation normalize. All such passenger vehicles may take alternative route (Amguri-Jorhat-Dergaon-Golaghat) to avoid and untoward incidents.

ADC TSEMINYU DIRECTS

Additional Deputy Commissioner and Chairman SDTF for COVID-19 Tseminyu, W.Manpai Phom has directed all concerned to strictly compliance of the laid down, SOP for wedding, marriages and similar social events to prevent transmission of COVID-19, prior permission to be sought from the office of the ADC Tseminyu. The village council chairman and ward GBs under Tseminyu sub-division have been directed to disseminate the information to general public in their respective jurisdiction.

FREE LEARNERS DRIVING TEST & LICENSE REGISTRATION FOR FEMALE DRIVERS CONDUCTED

Wokha District Administration, District Level Centre for Women (DLCW) & Mahila Shakti Kendra (MSK) in collaboration with District Transport Office, Wokha under Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP). The activity was started from the last month of October 2020, where Learners driver license was issued and in continuation of that organized a three (3) days driving test for the applicants from Office premises of the District Transport office Wokha from 25th November to 27th November 2020.

A co-ordination meeting of all Heads of Offices under Thonoknyu was held at SDO (C) Office Thonoknyu on 27th November 2020.

SDO (C) Longdiba L.Sangtam stressed on the officers to be present in their work stations and work for the development of the town.

The Department of Tourism, Government of Nagaland with the aim to facilitate and support local entrepreneurs has invited interested local e-commerce stores supporting local handloom & handicraft artisans to sell their indigenous products online through the Virtual Hornbill Festival App "Nagaland Tourism App Official". The App is available for download and registration on Google Play and App Store.

HALF MARATHON TO BE HELD AT PHEK
