The Nagaland Optometric Association, in a press release through its President, Nengneilhing Nakhro has informed that the Nagaland Optometric Association (NOA) is the state representative of the Optometrists community in and around the State. DISTRICT ADMINISTRATION LONGLENG ISSUES ADVISORY

AFRICAN SWINE FEVER DETECTED IN THE STATE
The Department of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services has notified that outbreak of African Swine Fever (ASF) has occurred in the State of Nagaland. This was confirmed through RTPCR test by National Institute of High Security Animal Disease, Bhopal from the samples submitted from the District of Phek & Kiphire.
CHIEF SECRETARY HOLDS MEETING WITH NIDA
A meeting with the office bearers and representative of the Nagaland In-service Doctors’ Association (NIDA) was held under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary Nagaland and other senior officers at the Chief Secretary’s Conference Hall, Kohima on 17th April 2021.
The meeting deliberated on the issue of superannuation age of the doctors and the proposed agitation of NIDA in this matter.
