Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK) Volunteers in coordination with District Administration, Mon, started a survey on progress/extend of Covid-19 vaccination of beneficiaries of 45 years and above in Mon Town from 25th May 2021. 

Deputy Commissioner & Chairman District Task Force COVID-19 Wokha, Orenthung Lotha ordered that the sealing of House No. 84 at Church Colony, Wokha Town be extended for another 7 (Seven) days with effect from 23rd May 2021 till further order.

With regard to the excavated earth, construction materials/spoils etc. being dumped over public roads or over the side drains by several construction sites within Mon Town, resulting in clogging of drainage system and narrowing of the existing road, ADC Mon & Administrator, Mon Town Council, Y.

Additional Deputy Commissioner, Chozuba has directed all the villages under Chozuba Sub-division to activate their respective Village Disaster Management Authorities with immediate effect. The VDMA may include village health workers and other volunteers.

Wokha District Task Force for COVID-19 held a review meeting on 24th May 2021 at DC’s Conference Hall. The meeting was chaired by DC & Chairman DTF, Wokha, Orenthung Lotha.

In order to take effective measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, ADC Aboi, Chumlamo Humstoe, NCS, on 22nd May 2021 ordered the sealing of House No. 1001 and House No. 96 A, Hahnyan Ward, Aboi Town till further orders.
