3rd Open Volleyball Tournament (men) will be organized by Exilir Sporting Club Pughoboto from 6th to 8th January 2022 at local ground, Pughoboto. The inaugural program will be graced by General Secretary BJYM Dimapur District And Sports Promoter, Shiyeto Wotsa, and Medical Officer Chumukudima Covid-19 Test Centre; Atoka Sukhato Wotsa will grace the closing ceremony as the special guest.

The variant B.1.1.529 was labelled as a Variant of Concern on and given the name Omicron on 26th Nov 2021. Omicron is a highly divergent variant with around 26-32 mutations in the spike protein with potential for immune escape and higher transmissibility.

The State Government has notified that 23rd (Thursday) December 2021 is declared as a holiday for Banks and Financial Institutions in Nagaland under the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (Act XXVI).

 In supersession of the Department of Youth Resources And Sports notification, the parking fee of vehicles at Indoor State Stadium has been revised from Rs. 500/- to Rs. 1000/- per month with effect from 1st January 2022.
