District Task Force, Mon in collaboration with Eleutheros Christian Society (ECS) invites applicants for 11(Eleven) Nos. of Community Surveillance Volunteers in Mon Town.

Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire in a has informed the public of Kiphire Village and Okhezung village that the 7 Assam Rifle troops, Kiphire will be conducting firing practices at firing range of 14 IRB, Kiphire on 18 June, 22 June, 25 June, 29 June and 2 July, 6 July, 9 July, 13 July and 16 July 2021 respectively. Announcement for more awareness was also carried out on 17th June 2021 in this regard.

The District Task Force Committee on Covid-19 will be holding a special vaccination drive on June 20th 2021, coinciding with the Father's Day celebration. 

Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Gregory Thejawelie, has informed on 17th June 2021 that the existing lockdown measures shall continue to remain in force in Kohima District till 30thJune 2021, with the following additional directives as given hereunder:

The State Government informed that the High Powered Committee on COVID-19 in its meeting held on 16th June 2021reviewed the situation in the State and it is has observed that the positivity rate of COVID-19 in the State continues to remain high, above 5% in all the districts of the State, warranting the need for taking adequate measures for preventing the spread of COVID-19;
