Newly recognised village, Nsong Namchi, under Tening Sub-division, Peren was officially inaugurated by Advisor for Water Resources, Namri Nchang on 18th January 2023.

Namri Nchang while speaking as the special guest encouraged the people from the village to promote the spirit of oneness and unity for progressiveness in all spheres. He apprised the gathering that his sole motive is to promote the welfare of the people without any differentiation. He asked the villagers to be vigilant of the various propaganda that are hovering all around before the state election. The oneness of a single tribe and the Nagas cannot be separated by any forces for which he called on that one must be prepared to fullfill the long cherish desire  dreams and aspirations of the Nagas as a whole.

Other who spoke at the program included, President NDPP 6th Tening A/C, Aku Nhai; EAC Tening, Imtiwabang Aier; EAC Nsong, Yimkum I. Ozukum and ADC Tening.

Chairman Nsong Namchi delivered the welcome address and President, NSU, Rangtalak proposed the vote of thanks. A cultural dance was also performed by Nsong village youth organisation.

Earlier, the Advisor unveiled the monolith which was followed by a dedicatory prayer pronounced by Pastor Nsong Namchi, Saha.
