In pursuant of the Government Order No. CSO/GAB-1/ COM/GEN-1/2020/203 dated Kohima the 19th February 2022, the Nagaland Board of School Education has notified the following for information of all concerned:

        i.            A candidate of HSLC or HSSLC Examination 2022 who could not appear the examination in a subject or some subject(s) on being tested COVID-19 positive shall be allowed to reappear the examination.

Students who had to go for COVID-19 testing and missed the examination but are in possession of COVID-19 Negative report shall also be allowed.

      ii.            A COVID-19 positive candidate on being tested negative again shall be allowed to sit for remaining subject(s) which he/she could not appear earlier after producing a COVID-19 Negative report duly certified by the Medical Department, Government of Nagaland.

In such cases, Centre Superintendent will make necessary arrangements to let the candidate sit in a separate room by maintaining SOPs.

    iii.            The examination dates and centre for these candidates shall be notified at a later date. No fees shall be realized for this category of students.

    iv.            The candidates shall apply officially to the Board stating the subject(s) which he/she intend to appear along with a photocopy of their Admit Card. The application of the student shall be duly forwarded by the respective Centre Superintendent of the Examination Centres of HSLC/HSSLC 2022 via email to nagaboard@gmail.com 

      v.            For HSLC Examination, the application should be submitted within 29th March 2022.

    vi.            For HSSLC Examination, the application should be submitted within 6th April 2022.

  vii.            All Centre Superintendents and Heads of Institutions are to disseminate this information to this category of candidates.

viii.            This is a One-time measure to ensure that the candidates are not deprived of appearing in the HSLC and HSSLC Examination 2022. 

    ix.            The examination shall be conducted strictly adhering to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) issued by the Government vide No. CSO/GAB-1/ COM/GEN-1/2020/203 dated the 19th Feb. 2022 for the conduct of HSLC & HSSLC Examination 2022.
