On the 7th Day of the Hornbill festival, various cultural Artists from the Northeastern States performed their rich traditional dance and song. The morning session was graced by Y.K. Chaubey Chairman and Managing Director, National Hydroelectric Power Corporation as the chief guest and Medo Yhokha Advisor Technical Education, Election as the host on 7th December 2022 at Kisama

The various states of the Northeastern Cultural Artists performed their colourful cultural dance and song for morning and evening cultural session includes, Tripura, Hozagiri cultural dance performed by (Reang community), Erap Hanam dance by (Galo Community) Arunachal, Cheraw dance by (Mizo community), Shad Pliang folk dance by (Jaintia Community) Meghalaya, Doh Mahi KIKan dance was performed by (Karbi Community) Assam, 'Singhi Chham (The Mount Kanchanjunga Snow Lion) dance was performed by (Bhutia Community) Sikkim, Pung Cholom dance, Dhol Dholak Cholom, Cheirol Jagoi Stick Dance and Thang-Ta Martial Art were performed by Meitei Community from Manipur.

The evening cultural programme  was held with Chief of Navy Staff, Admiral R. Hari Kumar as the chief guest and the host was V. Kashiho Sangtam, Minister for Soil and Water Conservation, Geology and Mining.

R. Hari Kumar thanked and expressed his best wishes to the people and hoped that the Hornbill festival would be a channel of blessing to the people of the state and the countries as well. He also said that the festival has been given a landmark in the tourist calendar across the globe and mentioned that around 200 personnel from Nagaland are serving in different categories in the field of Navy. He encouraged the younger generation to join for a short period of four years to avail themselves of the opportunities in the field of the Navy to serve the nation in different capacities.
