Commissioner and Secretary, NLA, P.J. Antony has informed that under Rule 8 (1) of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA), Speaker, NLA has fixed 19th March 2022 for holding the Election of the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly. The following are the dates and hours for filing nomination papers, withdrawal and election, if any:

1.      Date for filing nomination papers, 14 March and 15 March 2022, between 11:00 A.M and 03:00 P.M

2.      Date of withdrawal from 12:00 noon till 3:00 P.M. on 16 March, 2022.

3.      Date of Scrutiny, 17 March, 2022

4.      Date of Election, if any. 19 March, 2022.
