According to the laboratory finding reports in regard to the suspected outbreak of Anthrax from the office of the Chief Veterinary Officer, Longleng the report has proven the earlier suspicion of the outbreak of Anthrax disease is negative. The report has further revealed that an outbreak of Hemorrhagic Septicemia, a diseases cause in bovine by Pasteurella Multocida which is not zoonotic but contagious and highly fatal in mithuns, cattles, buffaloes and goats occurred in Sakshi block. 

Therefore, the Deputy Commissioner, Longleng in a partial modification of the earlier order dated Longleng the 11th May 2020, ban on selling/slaughter of cattles, mithuns, buffaloes and goats and also import of the aforementioned bovines only from Sakshi block is further extended till further order. 

Further the earlier order of banning the sell/slaughter of the aforementioned animals in other parts of the district is hereby relaxed.
