Deputy Commissioner Mon, Ajit Kumar Verma IAS, has announced that the Tribal Artisans Empanelment Mela (TAeM), organized under the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India, is scheduled to conclude on 29th September 2023. The event will take place at the Town Council Hall in Mon starting at 11:00 AM. The event is being conducted in collaboration with TRIFED (Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India Ltd).

Deputy Commissioner Verma earnestly requests all Tribal Artisans and Producers from Mon District to participate in the aforementioned Mela. Participants are advised to bring sample products/produce (sample only) for evaluation by the committee. Additionally, it is crucial to provide the following necessary documents: Copy of ST Certificate, Copy of Aadhar Card, Bank Passbook Front Page with Account Details, and Passport-size Photograph
