Music, Eco-Tourism and Adventure 2023, organized by the Team Metamorphosis in collaboration with Department of Tourism was inaugurated on 7th Dec 2023 at Lanchuju Eryu

Doyang, Wokha under the theme “Explore, Discover and Grow” The event will be held till13th Dec. with many captivating activities offering holistic experience blending music, eco tourism and nature.

The opening ceremony was graced by MLA Jwenga Seb as the Chief Guest. Addressing the gathering the Chief Guest expressed gratitude for hosting such an event and making him a part of the event. He said that Doyang is not just beautiful but is blessed with many natural resources with huge biodiversity including the roosting of the Amur Falcon. He also stated that Winter Fiesta is an extension of the renowned Hornbill festival.

While dwelling on the theme, he emphasized that it deeply resonates the essence of human nature while remarking that everyone is born with inmate curiosity such as to explore the world around us. He further added that music, eco-tourism and adventure are integral aspects of this event as it has the power to transcend boundaries and bring people together.

ADC, Sanis, Zuring Madeliang extended appreciation for choosing the area for the hornbill extension festival and lauded team metamorphosis for their contentious commitment towards social welfare activities and urged them to make this event an annual occurrence.

Highlights on the opening day of the event includes diverse indigenous games and activities ranging from kayaking, ziplining, camping and DJ night.
