Along with the rest of the country, the 75th Republic Day was observed at Aboi local ground, Mon with ADC, Aboi, Phuleshe K Yepthomi, NCS as the chief guest.

The chief guest unfurled the National Flag and delivered the Republic Day speech. The National Anthem was performed by the students of St. John Higher Secondary School, Aboi and a cultural folk song was presented by Chaoha Union Aboi. 

In commemoration of the auspicious day, exhibition stalls by different departments were set up which was inaugurated by the chief guest. The event was attended by government officials, organisations and the public.
