The 75th Republic Day was celebrated at public ground Longkhim, Tuensang on 26th January 2024. The Additional Deputy Commissioner Longkhim, Anoka H Assumi NCS, graced the function as Special Guest.

The Special Guest unfurled the National flag and took Rashtriya salute from two VG parade contingents and Living Local Band Longkhim town and delivered the Republic Day speech. The parade contingent was led by Haveldar Major VG, Tsiose.

The cultural troupe from VG and Akhehta Santamlaru Thsingmujang performed folk dance. Meanwhile the ADC staff demonstrated EVM operation system to the public. The ADC informed that the demonstration of EVM will be conducted every Saturday before election in the state.

Earlier the ADC also inaugurated and inspected the exhibition stalls put up by Women SHGs from Phirahi Village, Sangsomong village, Lirise village, Chungtor village, Angangba village and Agriculture department.
