Chumoukedima Town Council poll day was carried out peacefully with no untoward incident reported in all the 24 polling Stations under 11 wards held on 26th June 2024.

In spite of hot weather, voters were undeterred in their enthusiasm as they were seen queuing up patiently to cast their votes in Chumoukedima town. A total of 16127 electors turned out to cast their votes, out of which 7815 were Male and 8312 Female. In all the polling stations, security personnel were designated to conduct a smooth electoral process. All polling stations were equipped with standard voting compartments and were provided with refreshment and necessary facilities for the convenience of voters who came to cast their votes.
