The Sensitisation workshop on "Preventing & Combating Child Trafficking" was organised by District Administration with NCPCR, SCPCR, District Child Protection Unit, Mission Shakti with resource person Tongpang L Jamir, Advocate, Guwahati High Court Kohima Bench, at DC Conference Hall, Kiphire on 26th July 2024.

The Sensitisation program was organised by the National Commission of Protection of Child Rights and District Administration of Kiphire, in collaboration with Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Mission Shakti DHEW, SAMPOORNATA Abhiyan, Child Helpline Kiphire and Sakhi One Stop Centre.

ADC Kiphire, D. Robin, NCS delivered welcome address. Brief Remark by Vithalietuo Kire, UBI Officer-in-Charge Kiphire Police Station, Report presentation by CHI DCPU, followed by House Discussion.

The workshop was chaired by Tsosing, Councillor OSC. Vote of thanks was proposed by N.S. Khaikho, District Child Protection Officer (DCPO), Kiphire.
