Apropos to the recent news item appearing in Nagaland Post dated 9th August, 2024, the Department of Employment, Skill Development & Entrepreneurship has issued a rejoinder regarding the stipends for students of 8 it is. It updated that the end-to-end digitization of the Craftsmen Training Stipend Scheme, which facilitates the disbursement of scholarships to ITI students, has been fully completed. As on date, a total of 845 stipend claims have been successfully processed and disbursed through this digital platform.
