Deputy Commissioner & District Election Officer (DC&DEO) Mokokchung, Thsuvisie Phoji has informed to all the concerned that regarding the programme of SSR of Photo Electoral Roll with reference to 01.01.2025 as the qualifying date. Rationalization of polling Stations would be taken as per the following detailed time line:-

Pre-revision activities:

1.      Verification through BLOs, Rationalization/Re-arrangement of polling stations. Removal of discrepancies in the electoral roll/EPIC. Improvement of image quality ensuring good quality photographs by replacing blurred, poor quality and not to specify and non-human images in the roll wherever necessary. Recasting of Section/part and finalization of proposed restructuring of section/part boundaries location of polling stations and getting approval of the list of polling stations. Identification of the gap and finalizing the strategy and time line to bridge such gaps, and updation of control table. Those activities will be done in period between 20.08.2024 to 18.10.2024.Preparation of format 1 to 8 and preparation of integrated draft roll with reference to 01.01.2025 as the qualifying date will be done in period of 19.10.2024 to 28.10. 2024.

2.      Revision activities- publication of integrated draft electoral roll on 29.10.2024.

3.      Period for filling claims and objections on 20.10.2024 to 28.11.2024.

4.      Special campaign dates on Saturday and Sunday within claim and objection period (to be fixed by the CEO).

5.      Disposal of claims and objection by 24.12.2024,  checking of health parameters and obtaining commission's permission for final publication and updating database and printing of supplements by 01.01.2025.

6.      Final publication of electoral roll on 06.01.2025.

All the BLOs/Supervisors/AEROs under Mokokchung District are requested to follow the schedule as directed by the Commission.
