Deputy Commissioner Kohima has issued an Order stating that in view of the restoration work for removal of landslide at Dzüdza village under Sechü Zubza, the segment of National Highway-29 between Kohima and Dimapur from chainage KM 163+980 to KM 164+030 (RHS), shall be closed for all forms of traffic, including light and heavy vehicles, from 11:00 AM to 04:00 PM with effect from 16th of August, 2024 to 18th of August, 2024.

During the closure of road, all traffic shall be diverted to the following alternate routes:

Peducha Bridge to Tsiesema (10 Mile Road) and Dzüdza bridge-Mezo Basa-Sechüma-Sechü Zubza (Light vehicles only)

Therefore, all commuters have been advised to plan their journey accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
