On account of the day Chandrayan landed on the Moon last year, the 1st National Space Day 2024 is being celebrated on 23rd August 2024. In this regard, the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) has requested all the schools to undertake activities such as TLM development/quizzes and competition, audio-video material creation, assemblies, classes and workshops or seminars, organized on Space theme for celebrating National Space Day 2024; and post tweets/x messages daily upto and on 23rd August 2024.
Further, students and teachers have been encouraged to utilize the updated and revamped Bharat on the Moon portal, for exposing students to STEM ideas related to space, inspirational stories about our scientific heroes, creative thinking, etc.

NBSE has requested all heads of institutions for their leadership and support for the celebration of the 1st National Space Day 2024, and to encourage the students for STEM education programmes.
