As part of the State SVEEP initiative for Special Summary Revision 2024-2025, the Office of the Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer, Chumoukedima conducted an outreach program at Tetso College from 22nd to 23rd August, 2024, in collaboration with the Nagaland Sports Association (NSA) under the theme 'Sports for Votes'.
On 22nd August, the programme started with a welcome address by the College Principal and introduction by the Nagaland Sports Association (NSA) officials. At the session, there was an interactive booth set up by Election Office, Chumoukedima in the college campus to give assistance and facilitate first time voters. EVM and VVPAT demonstrations were also carried out, while the process of online registration was demonstrated by Campus Ambassadors of Pataki College.
On the second day, i.e, 23nd August 2024, various sports activities were conducted wherein approximately 200 students participated. The two-day outreach program saw active participation by the young students of Tetso College and significant registration among young eligible voters.
