Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Yingli Government College, Longleng, organised an awareness program on “Career in Sports” on 3rd of September, 2024.
The resource person, Metba K Phom, coach at the Sania Mirza Tennis Academy (SMTA), Dubai, spoke on introduction to Tennis and his journey as a Tennis Coach. Metba also shared on the hardships and challenges he underwent in order to pursue his goal. He encouraged the students to follow their passion and not give in to obstacles created by conventional society. He also encouraged the students to adopt the values of commitment, discipline, consistency, patience and to believe in oneself.
