DC Peren, Hiazu Meru in a circular has informed that the Nagaland Information Commission (NIC) has decided to celebrate/observe the RTI week at St. Xavier College, Jalukie, Peren district by organising a special programme on the Right to Information with the aim of creating awareness amongst the District Head of Offices, Public Information Officers (PIOs) and Assistant Public Relations Officers (APIOs) including representatives of NGOs, media, College Students, Church Associations, Tribal Hobos, Village Councils, VDBs, Town Councils, Women Groups and CSOs on the 8th of October 2024 (Tuesday) from 10:00 AM onwards.

In this regard, DC has requested all concerned officials and representatives to attend the programme positively.
