Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS has issued an Order in view of the upcoming Night Carnival scheduled from 1st of December to 10th of December, 2024, whereby all forms of vehicular traffic shall be restricted/regulated from Phoolbari Junction (South) to Razhu Point (North) via New/Old NST route from 04:00 PM till 09:00 PM with effect from 1st of December, 2024.

In this regard, details of traffic restrictions/ regulations have been issued during the above-mentioned time and days.

Vehicles coming from Dimapur and north bound i.e. (Tseminyu, Wokha, Zunheboto, Kiphire, Phek and other districts) may take NH-29-IG Stadium By-Pass Road.

Light Medium Vehicles (LMVs)/Two-Wheelers within Kohima town to be diverted from Y-Junction - Post Office - Khuochiezie (local ground) - Razhu Point

For City Buses, all Buses proceeding down from BOC/PR Hill shall be diverted towards Y-Junction - Post Office - DC Office - Assam Rifles Gate - Ao Church, and return towards BOC/PR Hill. Passengers will be dropped/ picked near local ground gate and return.

And all Buses proceeding up from High School towards Razhu Point shall take a roundabout from Razhu Point junction and return to High school side. Passengers shall be dropped/ picked at Razhu Point and return.

All departmental buses may follow the above traffic regulations for buses or return via NH-29-IG Stadium By-Pass Road.
