The Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA), Government of Nagaland, under its ongoing capacity building initiative Skilling Nagaland, is organising a three-day Master class in Audio Management from 21st to 23rd May 2025 at the Regional Centre of Excellence for Music and Performing Arts (RCEMPA), Jotsoma.

In his inaugural speech, Project Director, TaFMA, Dr. Hovithal Sothu encouraged the participants to learn as much as possible and make a difference in the society. He also stressed that audio management and sound engineering is a full profession and encouraged the young enthusiast to take it seriously.

The workshop was officially inaugurated on 21st May 2025, with Ms. Aleno Sale as the Chairperson of the inaugural programme and invocation pronounced by Mr. Kecakielie, Evangelist from Koinonia Baptist Church. A brief introduction to the training was presented by Course Coordinator, Menguzelie Marcus Geisuo, 

The Masterclass is designed specifically for sound operators and technical members from across Nagaland, recognising their important role in the management of live sound and audio systems during services and events.

This masterclass aims to provide hands-on training and technical insight into sound system operations, ensuring that participants are equipped with practical skills.

TaFMA continues to actively work towards empowering local talents and volunteers in the music and arts ecosystem through such focused and inclusive training programs.
