The District Task Force was held an emergency meeting in Deputy Commissioner Mon on 24thJune 2020 led by Thavaseelan K. DC Mon wherein it was decided to enforce a total lockdown from 25th to 28th June 2020 in Mon District with the following condition:

1. Movement of public is strictly prohibited except on medical emergencies.
2. All shops will remain closed except pharmacies.
3. Movement of private vehicles is strictly prohibited.

The total lockdown has been enforced in light of certain emerging circumstances and with a view to contain the spread of COVID-19.Therefore, public have been requested to comply with the order. Any person found violating this order will be penalised under relevant provisions of the law.
