Chozuba Block under Phek district of Nagaland organised Swasth Nari, Sashaki Parivar Abhiyaan with Health Care programme with rest of the country on 17th September 2025 and will go on till 2nd October, 2025.
The Health Camp aimed for improving the overall health and well-being of women, adolescent girls, children, and families by providing free medical check-ups, screenings, counselling, and other essential healthcare services.
The CHC Chozuba arranged a Special Health Camp on 19th September 2025 with a Special Doctor provided advanced consultations and services like screening of women and adolescent girls for early detection of disease such as blood pressure, diabetes, and cancer; anaemia check-up; tuberculosis test; sickle cell screening; regular antenatal check-up (ANC) for pregnant women and immunization services for children; information and counselling for women and adolescent girls on menstrual hygiene and nutrition; special enrolment under the Pradhan Mantri Matnu Vandana Yojana; Mother and Child Protection (MCP) Card services; Ayushman Vaya Vandana Card services Sickle Cell Card distribution; ABHA registration.
According to the notification issued by Senior Medical Officer, Dr. Lolekhol Pucho, has issued a notification directing the public attend the Special Health Camp and avail the services at their nearest Health & Wellness Centre during the scheduled dates
