In commemoration of 150 birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, a District Level Essay Competition was held at Government Higher Secondary School, Shamator on 4th November 2025. Athsangla Wongcham of St. Xavier School Shamator was declared the winner, while Tsuvichen of GHS Shamator and Hanshito. L from St. Xavier School was judged as first and second runners-up respectively.
Kongkhao Khiamniungan, principal of GHSS thanked all the participants and teachers for making the competition a grand successful.
