In line with the Office memorandum of Home Department, Government of Nagaland as preparations for the upcoming festive season, a mass social work was initiated by the Deputy Commissioner Office Mon on 12th November 2025 at Mon Town.
During the social work, building materials stacked on the road sides were removed, waste on the road side was demolished, clearance of drainage, cleaning of weeds in the road side. Shopkeepers are advised to have proper signboards with proper lighting at night. They are also encouraged to repaint their shop buildings.
General public and the government employees actively participated in cleaning and beautification of Mon town.
