As a part of the Nationwide celebration of the 150th birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel a Unity March was held at Phek town on 15th November 2025 under the theme Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat" (One India, Great India) and "Ek Bharat, Aatmanirbhar Bharat" (One India, Self-Reliant India).

            It symbolises Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel unparalleled role in unifying India, as part of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, it aligns with the mission of Viksit and Atmanirbhar Bharat of the Prime Minister of India .

            The program was organised under Mera Yuva Bharat (My Bharat) under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, in coordination with the District Administration and Police, Phek, with support from different departments across the District.

            The Rally was flagged off by Special Guest, Capt. Yashdeep Sharma, Adjutant, 39 Assam Rifles, Phek from Clock Tower and culminated at Town Hall Phek. Students from various colleges, scouts and guides, NSS and many others from different walks of life participated in the Flag March carrying the message of Unity and national Integration.

            A short program was held at Town Hall, Phek, where the Special Guest, Yashdeep address the gathering and emphasis on Togetherness and to show the world that we are united. He also voiced the slogan of the Army "One for all and all for One". Finally he concluded his short speech by expressing that the unity of our nation must go on and on as it is felt today. He also wished that this feeling of unity and belongingness must be taken to a greater heights and stays with us forever.

            The order of the program was chaired by Imnasenla Walling, EAC, Phek and cultural item was presentation by students of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose Avasiya Vidyalaya Residential Girls’ Hostel, Phek followed by presentation of awards to the pre-event activities. The program culminated with a closing remarks by Imnasenla Walling, EAC, Phek.
