In reference to the request letter of the Executive Engineer, PWD (R&B), Baghty Division (Letter No. EE/R&B/BTY/Wka-Mera/2025-26/122 dated 12th November 2025), the office of the Deputy Commissioner Wokha, Vineet Kumar IAS, has issued a public notice regarding traffic restrictions on Doyang Bridge along the Wokha–Merapani Road. The restrictions are being enforced to ensure public safety during the repair works scheduled from 19th November 2025 to 23rd November 2025.

During this period, there will be complete restriction on the movement of heavy commercial vehicles such as tractor-trailers, tipper trucks/dumpers, tankers, and similar categories. Movement of medium commercial vehicles including mini trucks, buses, excavators, and others will also be restricted. However, light motor vehicles not exceeding pickup trucks—such as Mahindra Bolero Pik Up, Tata Yodha, and Isuzu D-MAX—may be allowed to ply.

The order has been issued in the interest of the public and for strict compliance.
