In the interest of public order and safety, the Deputy Commissioner, Longleng has directed that dumping of construction/building materials, other debris and unauthorized parking of old/ unused vehicles along the road/Highway within Longleng Town is strictly prohibited. Any dereliction with this order shall attract penalty and further action deemed appropriate under relevant legal provisions.

Further, it informed that individuals/ society/ group undertaking new building on the road side highways/circular roads within the town jurisdiction shall obtain prior clearance form Administration and Ward Authorities for provision of road width and drainage. The concerned ward authorities are directed to monitor compliance and report any violation to the district Administration for further necessary action.
