In preparation for the upcoming 77th Republic Day Celebration 2026, the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Wokha, has announced that a Mass Social Work will be conducted across Wokha Town on 24th January 2026, beginning at 7:00 am.  

The initiative aims to ensure cleanliness and readiness of the town for the national celebration. All District Heads of Department and the general public of Wokha Town have been requested to actively participate and organize social work activities within their respective jurisdictions.  

As part of the directive, District Heads of Department are instructed to share photographs of the progress in the official WhatsApp group “Wokha Government Servants” and to submit attendance records to the DC’s office.  

The District Administration has appealed to the public to extend full cooperation, emphasizing that collective effort will reflect the spirit of unity and civic responsibility as the nation commemorates its 77th Republic Day.
