On the occasion of 77th Republic Day, the Mon Matti Portal, a digital land record and land permit management system, was launched by P. Paiwang Konyak, Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland, at Mon Town on 26th January 2026.

Developed by the District Administration, Mon under the Mon Smart Hub initiative, the portal digitizes existing land permit records and facilitates issuance of digitally verified permits through a structured approval process. With a public search facility and digitally traceable records, the portal will reduces paperwork, improves record management, and strengthens public trust in land administration, in line with the vision of Digital India.
