Deputy Commissioner, Peren, Hiazu Meru has informed that in view of the ongoing road construction and geo-grid installation works between District Hq, Peren and Jalukie Pungchi, plying of heavy vehicles on the aforementioned stretch shall remain closed with effect from 21st February 2026, except for those vehicles belonging to the construction firm.
All heavy vehicles travelling to and from Tening Sub-Division have been advised to take the Peren Town – Jalukie route during this period.
