Deputy Commissioner of Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa has notified that in view of upcoming Nagaland Olympic and Paralympic game to be held from 7th - 18th April 2026 at Kohima, Chumoukedima and Dimapur, a player selection screening test of athletes for Tuensang District will be held on 14th March 2026 at Parade Ground and Loyem Memorial Ground Tuensang from 9:00 Am onwards.
 Individual Events will consist of: 100, 200, 400, 800, 1500, 5000 and 10000 Meter Race
- long jump, High jump, Triple jump, shot Put, Discus Throw, Javelin Throw and Cross Country Race. While the Team Events 4×100 Relay, 4×400 Relay, 4×400 Mixed Relay and Cross Country Race.
For the cross country race, the team shall consist of a minimum of 4 participants and maximum of 6 participants. Each athlete shall be allowed to participate in a maximum of 2 individual events and 2 relay events only and restrictions shall not apply to the cross country event.
It informed all interested athletes to report at the venue on the given date and time for the selection test.
