Altogether seven candidates have filed their nomination papers for the forthcoming Bye Election to 28 Koridang A/C under Mokokchung District. 
The candidates along with their respective parties are Daochir (BJP), Abenjang (NPP), T. Chalokumba (INC), Imtiwapang (IND), Major (Retd) Toshikaba (IND), Imchatoba Imchen (IND) and Wapangmeren (IND).
SDO (C) and Returning Officer, Nockpai Konyak, NCS, informed that scrutiny of the nomination papers will be conducted at 11:00 AM on 24th March 2026 at the office of the SDO (C)/ Returning office, Deputy Commissioner office Mokokchung.
