The full text is as follows:
“The total number of positive cases in the State as on today stands at 1,460. The positive persons are receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres. Further, active surveillance and contact tracing is also in progress to prevent further spreading of the infection.
Out of the 1,460 positive cases, the total active cases are 878, the total recovered cases are 577, and there are 4 deaths. There has been 1 death which was COVID-19 positive, but the death is not related to COVID-19.
As per the severity of symptoms, out of the 878 active cases, 875 active cases are asymptomatic and 2 active cases are mild and 1 active case is moderate.
Till date, a total of 22,392 samples have been sent for testing through RT-PCR and the results of 20,706 samples have been received. Out of the 15,343 samples received at the BSL-3 lab at the Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK), a total of 13,603 samples have been tested and 981 samples have tested positive. In addition, a total of 15,277 samples have been sent for testing on Truenat and 528 samples have tested positive which have been sent for confirmation by RT-PCR.
A total of 2,500 persons are presently under Facility Quarantine.”
