The DC Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer has issued a circular stating that a campaign in observance of Poshan Pakhwada 2026 will  conducted from 9th to 23rd April, 2026 with a focus to promote awareness and action on key themes such as mother and child nutrition, early stimulation for brain development for (0 to 3 years), play based education in early years (3 to 6 years), role of parents and community for minimising screen time and  strengthening community support for Anganwadi services.
In this regard, all concerned departments and stakeholders are directed to ensure active participation and effective implementation of task given at District, Block and Village levels, coordinating well with the office of the District Social Welfare to ensure successful conduct of Poshan Pakhwada in Kiphire District.
