ADC & Administrator, Tizit Town Council, C. Phuniang, has issued a tender notice inviting interested persons and parties to apply for permits to sell pork, beef, chicken, and fish within the territorial jurisdiction of Tizit Town Council for the year 2026–27.

According to the notice, the tender period will be effective from May 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027. 

Under the terms and conditions, ADC, stated that all permit holders must sell their commodities at rates fixed by the Tizit Town Council. Beef and pork sellers will be allowed to operate only at the allotted site, namely the slaughterhouse at ADC Ward, once it becomes functional. Fish and chicken sellers must operate only at locations identified by the issuing authority, and any violation may lead to cancellation of the permit and forfeiture of the tendered amount.

For pork and beef permits, only five parties each will be allotted permits, with a minimum base deposit of Rs. 12,000 per party. For chicken and fish, only five parties each will be allotted permits, with a minimum base deposit of Rs. 6,000 per party. In case the number of applicants exceeds five for any item, the bid with the higher amount will be considered.

Applicants must submit their tender applications addressed to the ADC & Administrator, Tizit Town Council, along with a non-refundable application fee of Rs. 500. Preference will be given to local applicants.

The council stated that applications will be accepted until 2:00 PM on May 8, 2026. The bids will be opened thereafter, and permits will be issued on May 12, 2026.
