ADC and Executive Officer, Pfutsero Town Council, Mhalo Humtsoe informed that there will be an awareness cum interactive programme on pollution control in collaboration with the Nagaland Pollution Control Board on 17th June 2026 at 1.p.m at Town Hall, Ketoupa to focus on new solid waste management (SWM) rules 2026 providing an overview the responsibility of the waste generator, compliance requirements and their implication for town council and stakeholders, Environmental issues including ambient air pollution and its impact on the human health and Environment.
In this connection all HoDs, Town Councillors, ward Chairmen, GBs, all heads of educational institutions with 5 students each, TPMA, PTBA, PTYO, PTCSU are requested to compulsory take part in the programme.
