The result of the Urban Local Body (ULB) by‑election for Ward No. 8, Tsumang B Colony under Wokha Town Council was declared on 19th June 2026.
Ar. Aling Lotha, contesting on an NPF ticket, emerged victorious with 296 votes, defeating BJP candidate Mhomo Humtsoe, who secured 259 votes. Lotha won by a margin of 37 votes.
The by‑election was conducted to fill the vacancy created following the death of Wokha Town Council Chairperson, Late Khozamo Murry, in December 2025.
