The North East Zone Cultural Centre, Dimapur has invited application for availing the Guru Shishya Parampara Scheme for 2026-2027. Candidates within the age group of 45 to 70 yrs having very good knowledge for imparting training in any cultural field of the region, i.e., folk dance/songs, bamboo/cane/wood craft, folk theatre, woodcraft, mask making etc, can apply. Emphasis is given on Dying & Vanishing artforms of the region.
On selection and appointment as Guru, he/she will appoint an Assistant and 4 (four) Shishyas (within the age group of 15-25 yrs) and impart training for one year. The rate of honoraria per month for one year is as follows:
