The Deputy Commissioner Kiphire, Temsuwati Longkumer, NCS, has informed that, in continuation of the deliberations held during the Kiphire DPDB Meeting convened on 15th July, 2026, the District Administration, Kiphire, proposes to confer the District Commendation Certificate Award, 2026 upon deserving Government officials and employees who have rendered exemplary, dedicated and distinguished service in the discharge of their official duties and have made significant contributions towards public service and the overall development of the district.
The award seeks to recognise individuals who have consistently demonstrated exceptional professionalism, integrity, innovation, leadership, commitment to duty, and exemplary service delivery beyond the normal call of duty. The initiative is intended to foster a culture of excellence, accountability, dedication, and citizen-centric governance across all Government departments functioning within Kiphire District.
Accordingly, all Heads of Departments/Officers are requested to identify and nominate deserving officers/officials from their respective establishments for consideration under the District Commendation Certificate Award, 2026.
Each department may submit nominations strictly based on merit and verifiable achievements. The nominations shall be accompanied by all supporting documents as prescribed.
The complete nomination dossier shall reach the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Kiphire, on or before 1st August, 2026. Incomplete nominations or those received after the stipulated deadline are liable to be rejected without further correspondence.
The District Administration places high importance on the credibility and integrity of the selection process. Heads of Departments are, therefore, requested to exercise due diligence while recommending nominees so that only the most deserving and outstanding individuals are considered.
To ensure transparency, uniformity and merit-based evaluation, all Departments shall adhere to the following guidelines while forwarding nominations.
A. Eligibility: The nominee shall be a serving Government employee/official presently posted in Kiphire District. The nominee shall possess an unblemished record of service with integrity beyond reproach. No disciplinary or vigilance proceedings should be pending against the nominee. The nominee should have rendered noteworthy service with demonstrable impact on governance, public welfare, or departmental performance.
B. Evaluation parameters: Nominations should clearly demonstrate achievements under one or more of the following; Outstanding public service and commitment to duty. Exceptional work ethic and integrity. Innovation in administration or service delivery. Outstanding leadership and teamwork. Timely implementation of Government programmes and flagship schemes. Measurable contribution towards district development. Community engagement and citizen-centric initiatives. Crisis management, disaster response, or emergency services. Consistent efficiency, punctuality, discipline and professionalism. Any achievement bringing distinction to the department or Kiphire District.
C. Documents to be Enclosed: Each nomination shall include; Forwarding letter from the Head of Department. Nomination Form containing: Name of nominee, Designation & Department,
Place of posting, Length of service, Detailed Citation (not exceeding two pages) highlighting achievements and justification for the award, Brief Service Profile/Bio-data. Documentary evidence supporting achievements (reports, photography, appreciation letters, certificates, publications, official records, etc., wherever applicable), Copies of appreciation letters, commendations or recognitions received (if any), Certificate from the Head for Department stating that the nominee has maintained exemplary conduct. No disciplinary/vigilance case is pending. The information furnished is true and correct.
D. Submission: All nominations shall be duly signed by the Head of Department. Only complete nominations with supporting documents will be considered. Departments are encouraged to nominate only candidates whose contributions are truly exceptional and deserving of district -level recognition. And the decision of the District Selection Committee shall be final and binding.
